Homework Policy

The district policy requires 30 minutes of writing per night, 5 - 10 ten minutes of math facts daily, and a  minium of 100 minutes of reading per week.  I have divided this to  20 minutes of reading 5  nights a week. Students have a reading and math log that needs to be completed and initialed and returned to school each Friday.

Each student has received an Agenda Book. Students will write their homework assignments into their agenda book daily. Parents are to sign their child's agenda book to acknowldge their child's homework responsibilty. Late homework will be received, however, it will be marked late and will be reflected on the report card.

Please send your child in a with a healthy snack. Since snack is such a short time, please send in only one. All other sancks should be consumed during lunch. Water bottles with secured tops only are allowed on students desks during the warmer months. Please keep in mind we have students with peanut, tree and egg allergies Try to refrain from sending in these snacks.
